Katie Dubow Selected to Join Prestigious 40 Under 40 Class of 2018
Katie Dubow, creative director of Garden Media Group, has been named a member of Greenhouse Product News’ (GPN) 40 Under 40 Class of 2018. Dubow competed with more than 1,000 nationwide entries for the award and she is one of 40 selected.
Awarded by the leading business publication for horticulture professionals, GPN recognizes trailblazers under the age of 40 who exemplify superior leadership, creativity, innovative thinking, excellence and compassion throughout the horticulture field.
“I have admired the 40 under 40 group each year from the sidelines,” says Dubow. “I am fortunate to work alongside these innovators to encourage people to use gardening in a way that makes them truly happy. Being in this industry brings joy to my workplace, my clients and my life daily.”
Class members are nominated by their horticultural industry peers, based on personal and professional accomplishments.

At Garden Media, Dubow works with some of the most respected companies in the home and garden industry, manages marketing campaigns for a variety of national and international clients and continues to build new business relationships. She is a major force behind Garden Media’s annual garden trends report.
In addition to being a marketing strategist and enthusiastic speaker in the industry, Dubow serves on marketing committees for Garden Writers of America, the Million Pollinator Garden Challenge and sits on the board of the Pennsylvania Nursery and Landscape Association.
Before joining Garden Media in 2011, Dubow held positions as a marketing manager for Liz Claiborne, Inc. and a technical production manager at CBS in New York. A 2004 Northeastern University graduate, she has spent most of her career learning the ins and outs of brand management and analyzing the green industry.
