Garden Media Group Welcomes Lindsay Day to the Team
Lindsay Day, experienced horticulture marketing professional, has joined Garden Media Group as an assistant account executive. Day brings seven years of experience and enthusiasm for the green industry to the Garden Media team.
After graduating from Virginia Tech in 2014, where she studied horticulture and entomology, Day began her career in ornamental plant production. As a creative professional, she decided to transition into marketing and brand management at Saunders Brothers, Inc., where she helped launch a new branded line of boxwood shrubs. Her passion for innovative storytelling contributed to the success of the brand launch.
Day will work alongside other team members on several Garden Media accounts as she expands her expertise in public relations, social media insights, and the garden industry.
“Lindsay’s creative mindset brings a fresh and enthusiastic approach to sharing the beauty and benefits of plants to the garden industry,” said Katie Dubow, president of the firm. “We are fortunate to bring Lindsay on to support our team’s growth. Her experience and skills will contribute to our clients’ continued successes.”
Day shares her passions for horticulture and green living as a board member of the American Boxwood Society and an active member of the International Plant Propagators Society. Her talents extend to digital marketing, where she works to tell stories that engage communities with nature with the ultimate goal to drive positive social impact.
“The path here seems serendipitous,” explained Day. “As an industry member, I have admired Garden Media and am thrilled to work with such a dynamic and talented team that shares my passions.”
Day also contributes her time in various volunteer endeavors in search and rescue and disaster relief. She has worked with groups such as the Blue Ridge Mountain Rescue Group, Samaritan’s Purse Disaster Relief, Woodland Baptist Church Disaster Relief, and Emmanuel Youth Mission.
In her leisure time, she loves traveling, gardening, tending to her bees, and exploring the mountains with her dog.
